Don't know why but Salvo Intense smells more like Sauvage EDT to me and vice versa - Salvo EDP smells excatly like Sauvage EDP but synthetic and low quality. By the way I quickly go noseblind to all the Sauvages (but not Elixir) but I dont go noseblind to Salvos at all. - Salvo Intense closely mirrors Sauvage EDP, capturing about 90% of its essence. However, there's a missing element that sets them apart. - Unlike Sauvage, which transforms into a projecting ambroxan metallic powerhouse, Salvo Intense maintains its initial character throughout its wear. It might warm up slightly but doesn't evolve significantly.Pride of Armaf performs better than regular Salvo and Salvo intense for me. There's really no point in getting Salvo if you have POA, unless you want to sample it and see if it's worth the full size.
